-
- Code Breaker is a simple but addictive logic game. The computer will
- choose four pegs from the eight different coloured pegs available and
- arrange them in a random order. The computer may choose two or more
- pegs of the same colour. Your objective is to work out the sequence
- of pegs in twelve attempts or less by picking four and placing them in
- the peg holes in the current row. This is achieved by selecting one
- of the pegs from the side of the board and clicking over the hole
- which you want to contain that particular coloured peg. If you change
- your mind about a peg, simply replace it with a different one.
-
- When you are satisfied with your choice click on OK and the computer
- will tell you how you did by placing small black and white pegs in the
- holes beside your combination. A black means that one of your pegs is
- the correct colour and is in the correct hole, a white means that one
- of your pegs is the correct colour but in the wrong hole and an empty
- hole means that one of your pegs is the wrong colour.
-
- Clicking menu over the main game window will bring up a menu with
- 'Info', 'Reveal' and 'New Game' options. Choosing 'Reveal' will end
- the game and reveal the correct combination. Clicking on 'New Game'
- resets the board for another game. Should you for some strange reason
- wish to quit Code Breaker the 'Quit' option may be found on the icon
- bar menu.
